Clarifying - The weekend closures for the resurfacing of I-94 between Masonic Boulevard and North River Road in Macomb County start the weekend after Memorial Day. Next weekend, May 29-June 1, EB I-94 from M-3 to Metro Parkway will be closed in Macomb County.  The following 3 weekends are also scheduled to have closures.

Beginning 8pm Friday, May 29 thru 5am, Monday, June 1:

• EB I-94, M-3/Gratiot to Metro Parkway in MACOMB COUNTY will be closed. Detour - NB M-3/Gratiot to EB Metro Pkway.

The following ramps will also be closed:

• EB I-696 ramp to EB I-94

• 11 Mile ramp to EB I-94

• 12 Mile ramp to EB I-94

• Little Mack ramp to EB I-94

• Harper Rd ramp to EB I-94

• Shook Rd ramp to EB I-94

All work is weather dependent. Please drive slowly and safely through construction zones.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing approximately $12 million to resurface more than 5.4 miles of I-94 between Masonic Boulevard and North River Road in Clinton and Harrison Townships, St. Clair Shores and Roseville. Work will include patching concrete, repairing curb and gutters, and restriping permanent pavement markings.

Starting April 27, single-lane closures will begin on eastbound I-94 between Masonic Boulevard and Metro Parkway for concrete work on the shoulder.

Later this spring, work will begin on the I-94 pavement. During this work, drivers can expect weekend full closures of I-94 between Masonic Boulevard and Metro Parkway for up to five weekends per direction. At least one direction of I-94 will always be open. Drivers will also see double-lane closures on I-94 between Metro Parkway and North River Road for resurfacing, up to three weekends per direction.

Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support 102 jobs.

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. - Crews continue to resurface M-29 (Green Street) in New Baltimore, Macomb County, with eastbound M-29 (Green Street) closed from Huntley Street to Murdick Drive

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. - Now through 7pm Thursday, 10/2, eastbound M-29/Green Street will be CLOSED from Huntley Street to Murdick Drive for construction. Westbound M-29/Green St will have ONE LANE OPEN.

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. - Beginning at 7 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, through 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, eastbound M-29 (Green Street) will be closed from Huntley Street to Murdick Drive for resurfacing in New Baltimore, Macomb County. Westbound M-29 (Green Street) will only have one lane open.

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Traffic Advisory for M-3 in Chesterfield Township Southbound M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) from 23 Mile Road to 21 Mile Road and westbound M-3 (23 Mile Road) from I-94 to Gratiot Avenue will have lane closures for concrete work:

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, through 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, eastbound M-3 (23 Mile Road) will be closed from Gratiot Avenue to I-94 for resurfacing in Macomb County. Westbound M-3 (23 Mile Road) will have at least one lane open.

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing approximately $3.2 million to resurface more than 3.2 miles of M-29 between Baker Road and the St. Clair County line, upgrading sidewalk curb ramps, pedestrian traffic signal improvements, and restriping permanent pavement markings in the city of New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township.
