The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing approximately $3.5 million to perform bridge maintenance and add a pedestrian sidewalk along the north side of M-29 through the I-94 interchange in Chesterfield Township. Work will include partial bridge deck replacement, addition of a sidewalk, bridge barrier replacement, bridge substructure steel repairs, bridge deck epoxy overlay, fence installation, guardrail replacement, on-ramp realignment and restriping permanent pavement markings.
